Yo Zuri Crystal Minnow
The Yo zuri crystal minnow sub surface lure is said to be an excellent bass fishing plug. Again this one is ideal for bass fishing over shallow beaches and rocky areas. This plug is considered to be amongst the very best bass fishing lures for shore bass plugging in UK waters.
The amazing holographic laser tape finish of the Crystal Minnow catches all the available light sources which is considered essential when bass fishing at dawn and dusk, when light levels are at their lowest but bass are known to be at their most active. The Yo zuri crystal minnow also has realistic wild eyed design which make the lure lifelike to fish such as bass.
The Crystal Minnow features a realistic wiggling action and is considered equally effective when used in a jerk retrieve manner, constant wind or even in the traditionally spinning fashion.
Also there has been a recent addition of a rattle to the crystal minnow.

The Yo Zuri Crystal minnow is my number one bass plug for lure fishing from my kayak. They fish at a depth of up to 6 foot when trolled behind the kayak and are highly effective over soft and rough ground. They seem to work best when fishing in water between 10 and 20 foot deep. If its a bass plug for fishing in shallow to moderate depth waters from either shore or kayak then I would highly recommend the yo zuri crystal minnow.
This has to be the best allround lure for plugging in UK waters. Through using this lure throughout 2008 and I found that it will take any fish. To date I have had : Bass, Pollock, Mackerel and Coalies on this lure. Quite recently I had a Pollock of 9 pounds whcih must have come up from the bottom to take the crystal minnow. I remember having a conversation with a fellow kayaker who commented he had never caught anything other than bass whilst plug fishing. I suggested he try the crystal minnow and not long after he was catching the other species I mentioned above. THere will be times when you must select other lures for bass and as always it pays to experiment to find what the fish are taking, but if you want to have the chance of all the species around you then I would suggest the Red tipped crystal minnow as the one to start with
