Whitby Shore Angling Club – Results For Sunday 18th October
Uncategorized Tuesday, October 20th, 2009A tiny bit of northerly sea swell remained in the water from the large northerly swell that blew up early on the previous Friday. Results for the Whitby club members were much improved over the first few matches of the season. Whitby forum member Mike Vasey (Aka Mikefish) won the match with 5 fish for 5 pounds 4 ounces. Again Dennis Thompson was not too far away and his five fish for 4lb 6 ounces gave him second place on the night. Brian Harland took third with 4 fish for 3lb 15 ounces. The match was fished for 4 hours through a large ebbing tide. The water at some of the marks is now starting to colour up, but the lack of rain seems to be stopping the sea from taking on its heavy colour associated with autumn storms.
