There is a new name on the All England Codling Championship for 2009. Mark Kendal from York fished with his father at Birdash (Bempton Bottoms). Mark beat of strong competition and landed 2 cracking cod for 8 pounds 13 ounces. Mark Smith from Middlesborough was Second followed closely by Whitby’s Andrew Cass.
