Tony Jeffels And Ray Maddison Find Big Cod On The First Day Of Scarborough Angling Festival.
The first shore match of the annual Scarborough Angling Festival took place today. The match, fished to a heaviest single fish format was the opener of a full week of shore, boat and kayak fishing matches staged on the Yorkshire coast.
Tony Jeffels set the pace and won this match with a nice fish of 12lb 12 ounces. Second place went to Ray Maddison from Scarborough with another nice fish of 9 lb 12 ounces.
The event now continues untill its conclusion next Sunday when shore anglers will fish for the title of the All England Codling Championship. For further updates on the festival please visit :
