Yes I must agree that the Rapala Xrap is a truly great bass fishing plug. I use mine to great effect in the shallow waters around Hartlepool power station and have personally caught numerous bass to 7 pounds. If you purchase 1 lure for bass fishing in the north east then the rapala X Rap should be the plug of choice
This is an outstanding lure, and one of few that ive caught regulary on. must be worked in a fast and jerky retrive though.
Yes,best all round lure ive used down here in Dorset.Sometimes use maria,s in very shallow water but can often get away with retrieving x-raps with the rod held high to prevent snagging.Best colour by far glass ghost
