£10,000 worth of prizes for Whitby Fishing Festival - Summer 2008
A prize fund of £10,000 plus extra tackle prizes will be up for grabs at next summers Whitby Angling Festival. With a prize of over £5,000 for the captor of the heaviest single fish the Whitby angling event will become the largest fishing festival in the whole of the UK. Whitby Charter Skippers Chairman Paul Kilpatrick says next summers festival is going to be “massive” Full details will be available soon on the charter skippers website and in the Whitby fishing forum and Whitby sea anglers fishing news page. The Whitby Angling Festival Main Sponsors - Stage coach supertram from Sheffield will be putting up a large percentage of the cash for the prizes.
