Saltburn Sea Anglers - Saltburn Fishing Club
Saltburn Sea Anglers fish all year round and have
various different types of matches held on the north east coast between
Whitby East Pier and South Gare at Teesmouth. Membership of Saltburn
fishing club is £10 per year for senior members, £2 per year for oap's
and junior membership is free. Membership allows you to fish all the
club
competitions for which there is an additional charge of £3 per
competition, an optional heaviest fish competition costing £1, and an
optional raffle also at £1. Anglers wishing to join the Saltburn
fishing club need to go to their website and download a membership form

Filey Brigg Angling Society
Filey fishing club fish 3 matches per week with the fishing season
starting the first Monday of October every year. The three matches are
as follows Monday - Start @ 6.30 pm with weigh in by 10-30 pm. Wednesday
- Start @ 6.30 pm with weigh in by 10-30 pm. Saturday start 2pm weigh in
by 6.30pm. Membership of Filey Brigg fishing club is £10 per season for
senior members, oap's - £5, Ladies and Juniors £2. There is also a

Scarborough Angling Club - Southcliff Fishing Club
Scarborough
Angling club operates from the Anglers social club at 2-4 Friars Way
-Telephone: 01723 372495 . They offer some matches to club members only
(more details to follow) and 6 open matches which can be fished by non
members. The open matches are fished over six Thursdays,
there is normally £20.00 up for grabs for the heaviest fish and heaviest
bag on the night, with £100.00 up for grabs for the highest number of
points over the six matches and roll up sweeps over the six matches for
the heaviest bag and heaviest fish taken, these amounted to £45.00 last
year, the more anglers who fish the bigger the prizes on the night and
bigger roll ups at the end of the six matches series. Octobers match is
on Thursday 19th, fishing 6.30pm weigh in at the Anglers Social Club by
10.30pm, entry is £5.00 and is open to non club members.
Reckitts Sea Angling Club
Reckitts
sac have 12 matches over the winter season starting in mid October and
ending in march. Most matches are on a sun at various times depending on
the tides you will learn loads from some vary accomplished anglers i.e
Dave Brown, Steve Green, Chrissy Wray, John Levo and many more) and
learn how the coast fishes in diverse conditions. The best bit is the
crack in the pub afterwards with the lads and a few pints, and a free
bit of grub from the landlord. You will make plenty of new fishing
buddies and have a good laugh doing it. Who knows you might even pick up
a few quid and some trophies for your trouble. You don't have to be the
worlds best angler or caster, any abilities are welcome, You will learn

St Mary's Fishing Club (Teesside)

Saint Mary's fishing club is Teesside based and runs from the boys club
in Grangetown. The club fish year round matches mostly on Sundays with
varying fishing times and boundaries dependent on the weather and tides
etc. To register you need to read the Teesside evening gazette on a
Saturday and see what time the lads meet on the Sunday then go along and

Amble Sea Angling Club
Amble Is home to one of the biggest fishing clubs in the north east.
Thier winter league matches are weekly and usually fished on a Sunday.
Membership is £15 per year, Subs can be paid to any
club official , at a monthly meeting or prior to any weigh in. Amble
Angling Centre als collects subs on the clubs behalf and is open

Newbiggin and District Sea Angling Club
Newbiggin fishing club is yet another of the north east's top club's.
The clubs members fish competitions most weeks along the Northumberland
coastline. To Join Newbiggin club you can either: attend any of the club
matches and register at the club house half an hour prior to the match,
Speak or write to any of the club officials or email the club secratary

Borough Of Tynemouth Angling Club
Tynemouth fishing club was formed at the end of the second world war in
1948. Most of the members were workers from smiths dry dock in North
Shields and held meetings in various public houses near the quay side.
The club has in excess of 170 members and at present runs the following
sections: Seniors, Juniors and Retired members. The Main Club runs Pier,
Winter and Summer competitions, travels to Scotland and Eyemouth for
matches and also runs a summer league at seahouses usually of about 6 to
