Designed by the doctor of bass fishing himself “Mike Ladle” this rod has received top line endorsements from both the angling press and sea fishing websites. The Mike Ladle Sure Spin is one of the best bass fishing rods in today’s market place. Also its very reasonably priced making a great buy for anglers of all abilities. Available from Veals fishing tackle shop

I have the veals surespin, which i bought for the coming season. i did take it out and tried it on the beach casting plugs, spinners & a 1 & 2oz weight and it went pretty well, maybe 20z is at the upper end of its useability.
Its as light as a feather and feel great, since i bought mine they have brought out an updated version which is a touch shorter and £45 more & i think its available in both 4 & 2 piece versions.
The Mike Ladle surespin is at home on both rocks and sand for bass fishing with plugs. I would highly recommend this rod to anyone.

its my first year with this rod, ive teamed it with a shimano 4500 stradic rda and find it very comfortable to use and more than capable of hurling lures long distances. as mentioned its based on a diawa blank, a shinobi i think. it feels very similar.
I live in Belgium and got the Surespin by mailorder from Veals (exellent service b.t.w.) i have had bass up to 5lbs,garfish and mackerel with it,it does the job nicely.A friend of mine borrowed it to go spinning for pike and had a pike of 8lbs and a zander of 5lbs on it,no problem,i am very pleased with it,it is a touch heavier dan most sea spinrods sold in Belgium and that is just what i like about it.
