An 8.9m Cheetah Cat with twin 90 4 stroke Honda’s, taking parties of 6 anglers on specialised trips for the more serious angler. Cruising to 17kts and top speed of 25kts(depending on sea conditions) Lizzard can be on the offshore wrecks in a third of the time most other local vessels would take (if they ever ventured that far), fishing for cod, haddock, ling and pollock. However, if you want specialist fishing we also troll plugs inshore for bass to 6lb, float fish live sandeel for pollock to 18lb and bass to 8lb, and anchor up for tope and Thornback ray, with a best for the boat currently at 77lb and 15lb respectively, there is plenty of scope to increase both sizes.
