Hi. I am very happy with my Hobie Revolution.
1) I gould give 5 stars for the V.f.M. but, in Greece it is very expensive as all over Europe.(1.5 USA price).
2) The 1st stability isn’t so good as Ocean Kayak’s prowler 13 I have tried but, it’s second stability is much better. In general, after 200h of paddling-pedaling experience under different sea sate conditions (and very bad in general), I can say that is really stable.
3) It has a lot of space for storing things, 2 small net pockets, etc. It goes fast where ever you need. You can fish-troll easily without paddling. It is very helpful pedaling.
4) I believe it is faster than any other (equivalent size – category) kayak with paddles.
5) The weight of practically 27 Kg, is quite heavy.
I am a sea angler, fishing in Greece under very windy conditions. I dont’t have experience with many orther kayaks. I have used just the Ocean Kayak’s prowler 13 and a inflatable 2 places 13′.
