    Bloody hell Ian, thats one big zander- I hope Sam got one that big. I fancy going to the Broads with the yak for a spot of zander, Pike and Perch fishing sometime, maybe this summer. Do you know if Zander are nocturnal feeders, by any chance?

    Yeah i have watched matt hayes on tv and he has had them in the dark ?

    I think (given the size of their eyes) they are active in low light but Sam was saying that they're not exclusively nocturnal.

    Now then Ian,

    I wasn't able to do any fishing at the event, we were the sponsors for the Zander match so was working. It was a slow day due to the awful weather but 18 Zander were caught, all on lures and during the day so don't believe this thing that Zander only feed at night :wink:
