Seeing that fantastic Halibut(congrats by the way), I got to wondering what the angler was going to do with it. Stick it the back of the car? Fillet it and put in in the freezer? He would need a pretty big freezer, and a pretty understanding wife! Having been out on charters, I have read the signs informing that you cannot sell your catch on. Now not that I have ever caught enough fish to sell, but I just wondered, purely out of interest, why is it illegal to sell the catch on? What is the thinking behind that?
