Yeah that will do it jim just a little more depth. At the moment the fish in pin sharp then your loosing focus a bit on the angler. Cracking shots though. Wish I could afford that camera.

stickman There's a difference between fishing and catching!

Re: Whitby Sea Anglers Forums Up-Tide Festival Results 07 Nov 2013

Cart definitely doing the business today on Mistress!

Dean had all his fish on Cart or cart cocktails - as far as I can remember.

I had ten fish, the first one on squid and lug on their own and the other nine on a cocktail of squid, lug and cart. Squid on its own or lug on its own fished very poorly - even fresh lug was ignored by the cod!

The addition of even a small amount of cart - even second or third hand left on from previous casts - made a big difference. I must have missed at least 20 bites as well today ::)

Pennel rigs seemed to hook up better as well with a lot of fish caught on just the top hook. I only lost one lead today which is something of a record for me ;)

I called in at Whitby Angling Supplies just before closing and they'd just got some more cart in stock - just as well as I'd used up all the cart from in my freezer.

Big thanks again to Rich and the other skippers and all the sponsors ;D
