Went out with Dolly yesterday on Trott On 2, was a very difficult days fishing with about 20 fish coming over. Cod, ling, Collies and pouting and not to forget the gurnard not much to shout about the best to 4 1/2 lb. Thanks to Paul for taking us out and I'm certain we will be back up during festival as from previous reports it can only get better.

You should have weighed in the Gurnard.
There is a Species Section % of UK Boat Record.
A 01lb 11oz Whiting 22.76% is the leader at the moment.

I went to the weigh in this evening, looks like the fishing is absolutely abysmal at present. Small fish winning the prizes and anglers on some boats with only 2 or 3 fish each. Hope things improve soon.

Just don't get it what's going on, is it because of the weather or the sea states ? only managed to make fish fingers out of mine on Sunday ????

I really dont know. The report on the news the other day said cod was making a recovery, but then Paul said that report was wrong. Not sure maybe its the weather or maybe its lack of fish.
