Sea Otter 2 A Great First Week In The Late Summer Festival

The first week in the late summer festival has been a corker for fish some cracking ling and also some very nice cod caught over the first week on sea-otter 2 plus we had the most daily prize wins but the really big one has been avaiding us upto press but still another week to go the lads have had a boom week for fish on the first week of the competition .

A few shots of some very nice fish for the lads one day we had 3 fish between 16-18lb the best last week onces under 20lb cod to around 15lb so not a bad week some happy anglers on sea-otter 2.

Well done Jack !!! I have spoke to paul on phone and he said that the boat was taken by two anglers Jack and Mick who have been regulars for years. Shame the rest of there usual crew couldnt make it.
They had over 10 st of fish between them very respectful for two pensioners. Cod into double figures even a couple of haddock thats jack beating his personal best twice in two outings on trot-on

Smaller fish uptiding but we all know the bigger ones are amongst them. Was there many fish caught, how many per angler on average ??

Not as good as yesterday in numbers on the Uptiding glen yesterday it fished well with between 40-50 codlings upto 7lb but as yesterday the forcast wasn't good but the lads wanted a days fishing a bit breezy bit still a lovelly day for the time of year back wrecking Tommorow and with the tides dropping next week watch this space some bonny fish on the cards .
