a bloke running round the north east ,every copper in the country trying to find him,
he leaves hand writen notes , a camp site , a stolen car, a dead body , two wounded , vans from northern ireland :surprise: and the nutter is still on the loose,
good job they dont go fishing we would wait forever for a report
seriously though, this reminds me of whitehaven , seems to me they can catch the motorist , the shopliffter, the drunkard on a saturday night, but if your realy nastie you got it made

Carbon copy of Malton in the 80's Feckin useless plod was knackered when a real criminal was on the loose and they had to call in the real experts (S.A.S) then too.

Yup...a deranged maniac, with some degree of outdoor skills, weapons training in a large rural area being chased and staying one step ahead of the game with nothing to lose. So is he going to be that easy to catch ?

    Sambo To the MAX!

In all fairness to the police could you guys do a better job? The UK is a relatively large place last time I checked, can't be that easy to find one person out of millions :whatever:

Theres always more to these things than meet the eye. Im sure the police are doing all they can and will get the idiot in the end. Reminds me of Barry Prudham back in the 80's.

Come on lads, they seem to do ok catching motorists with : Thermal imaging, heat sensor cameras and helicopters.
I am pretty sure if they drafted in the army the guy would quickly be found.
This is Northumberland we are discussing here not some mountain region in Afghanistan.

Hi All if i remember rightly didn't prudham go into dalby forest for a few days so if this guy goes into keilder forest which is what i think he will do its a lot bigger than dalby so it will take a lot longer to sus him out best thing to do is keep out the way and let whoever catch him we all play hell about the police at times i do catching drivers like me with there cameras but would you like to go into keilder forest at night looking for a armed killer i think not lets all hope he sees sence and gives himself up but will this happen No lets hope the police or army get him before he gets one of them regards Alain

Found him hidden in a bramble bush in the end Alain. I remember it clearly because we got caught poaching near Malton a few weeks later and we had an unlicensed shotgun with us. We were surrounded by armed police and arrested, one of the most intimidating and frightening experiences of my life. They dont mess around them boys.
Yes fair point you make and I am possibly been a little harsh on plod who does a thankless job after all, and we would be really in the shite without them so apologies to plod. This is certainly a specialist case.

Police in Northumberland have taken the unusual precaution of closing all the local fish and chip shops untill the Geordie gunman Raoul Moat is found.
A police spokesman said today "there will be no fishy's on the dishy's till the Moat comes in"

Regards Ian (I'll get me coat)

    Raoul Moat

I know this is a controversial thing to print but the police by claiming that he has threatened the general public is in my belief is a desperate attempt to cover their own short comings in catchig him. They are covering their own backs ad trying to get the public to back them. Believe me when i say i do not agree with what he is doing. But the police in my area cannot catch a cold never mind a killer. Is"nt it strange they only want our help when it suits them.Again i say i do not like what he has done. But will we ever get to know the true storyas we only get to know one side the police or people who stand to gain out of it.

I dont think he's even in that area, I think the campsite etc was just a decoy set by his mates. he could be anywhere by now.
