    how time flies,

remember getting a copy from an "older" mate who thought that they were now rubbish

    no hits on the album.

as a 13 yr old the cover /lyrics/little additions inside/ made an impression to forge

my later tastes in music, resulting in albums becoming my birthday/Christmas presents

of choice, "Disraeli gears" starting a passion for early Clapton, west coast bands etc.

innocent times ,when someone had a transistor on the old pier luxemberg, caroline et all

playing music "new" to our young ears.

a luxury to-day is when re-issues of old albums are accessible & remember how good

musicians could play/produce without modern "tweaking" of totally poor performers.

if you still have the album/cd etc give it a blast & njoy.

but still have the beatles autographs and about 500/600 other lps

some have amazing value now, scratched/warped ones, sell covers

amazed at price of some in a frame, eg; court of the crimson king,

    trout mask replica, etc etc.

as you say glad to have experienced it all, local venues no rip off stadium

corporate gigs, just 200-300 intimate venues.
