With a break in the weather we managed to get out yesterday uptiding after a big sea over the weekend expectations were high with there being plenty of fish off the peir i new some quality fish were around close in but after that sea it couldnt be anything else. We started down off saltwick the first lad to drop was only in seconds when he shouted got a bite straight away he was into a fish a cod about 6lb he was over the moon a quality fish first drop we continuied to fish steady most of the day steady it wasnt fast but it was sheer size of the fish which made the day a nice stamp up and around 6-8lb mark and best just over 10lb thats 2 fish of that quality in the last 2 uptiding trips. Neil the organizer with the first fish of the day a cod around 6lb. This lad managed 2 lovelly fish on the belt this one about 7lb Then the best fish of the day this one it went 10lb 2oz on the scale . Who says beads dont work they did for this lad. This fish gets on for around 8lb another quality fish. paul.
