cracking morning to be at sea,

spent a couple of hours looking for new marks 120 + depth.

found 3 new ones, couple of drifts through them, mussel on 1-rod

shads on other, each drift resulted in plenty of mops & 12 keepers to 5lb.

bait /shad catch evens, 1 ling & 3 jumbo mackerel.

with to-morrow a possible trip out & following latter years returns

ventured hard in for shallow water action, drift 22ft to 40 ft depth

quick 2 drifts ,another 3 keepers, talpie gorgers so will be trying hard in

    as flood starts in morn.

good day out topped off with fathers day ice bucket of corona, cheers son.

Got out this afty, limited time so just went 1 1/2 straight off the gare. Water still a bit mucky for shads, come back inside and got some nice macky all around 1 1/2 pound mark taken off the bottom nowt mid water. First run of the year so just happy to see the boats working well always need the first time out for a bit of confidence. Very little food in the macky bellies when guttedill not much bait fish around this area.

Out again this morning, found a nice little drift with a few better than our average cod on it, also had our first decent Pollock of the year. Then everyone else turned up, so we b*ggered off. Have "Last of the summer Whine" got a new boat Bryan?
