Section of saltwick to RHB Cleveland way slipped away causing possible overhang. Section also of huntcliffe slipped into sea. Make sure you keep safe up rabbit warrens,Bernie's ledge etc etc.
you wont catch me there scared of heights saying that off to drummore sunday morning for a last trip up the mull for this year fishing till tuesday
wonder if cowbar has gone yet.i know last yr when we fished it,it was fenced off yet there was still a loonatic on there.he was ramming his rest into what he thought was solid ground and his leg just disappeared.cant understand some people,is it really worth it.that was the section to the right of the fence.i love cliff top fishing but even I'm not barmy enough to fish were its been cordend off.
Its a shame that a lot of "old" posters don't contribute on cliff fishing. Early season fever for bempton, sandsend, cloughton was always a good read. Big cliffs input into how he'd maintained ropes, hoses, anchor points, step Cutting etc etc, added to reccees prior to chancing it. Crowbar was also early season topic. Just take care, frosts due to add to "cracking" potential of platform overhangs etc.
Another slippage, bloke got buried up to his waist apparently Fossil collector trapped after coastal landslide near Staithes Anyone from here who helped him put?
Just seen it on BBC text BRI @ 20:15,, lucky good sea on for cowbar usual regulars probably helper Very lucky, tides starting to ease off now.
BBC news said port dock, Looked like Keller hole area, this section of cliff above to point Has been constantly breaking easy.
