    SUMMER COD FISHING TRIP 2012

Just returned from a trip up to the east coast of Scotland in search of a bit of good fishing.. One thing we can never rely on is the Great British Summer, at times it felt more like November than July but not easily put off we made the most of what the weather had to dish out and had a great time and managed to catch plenty of cod...

Had an amazing time fishing once again. We caught Cod, Dogfish, Coalfish, and Alan even sneaked out a Bass... Thanks to Alan and Martin for a great trip and to our Scottish friends Rick (Tricky) and Jimmy and David (TangleJock) was great to see you all again..

    Hope you enjoy the pictures..

Another cracking report Gary, I've never been summer shore fishing for cod but it's something I've always fancied. Guess kayak fishing gets in the way sometimes.

Some great photos as well Gary, this being my fav:

Glad the fishing and the weather picked up a bit for you all Gary. Had an hour at Pudding rock, 1 mop before the tide pushed me off, on Monday morning. Then headed for home in the rain.
Must have been good to see Perigines, did they land on the Birdtable? :surprise:

Well lads what can i say you's guys really know were the fish are, another great report as always. Some superb photos taken, i know how much effort it is to take photos whilst fishing getting your camera out, weighing the fish etc.. So well done for that. And as for the bass I'm surprised Alan didn't get a double shot of them, :canadian: soon he'll be showing us around the bass marks and talking us through his special rigs. Its nice to see you's meeting up with other forum lads, showing them the ropes.

Once again a great report, keep up the good work.

    Cheers lee

, I suppose over the week they saved us at least 50 leads , which cant be bad

Thats the only thing i miss about work, no "raw materials" to utilise,

you never can stock up on enough before you retire !!!!
