Century Tip Tornado Light mk 1.

If a mate asked for one rod that nearly did everything, this is the rod I would honestly suggest.
If I had to have one rod myself, this is the rod I would get.

It is light, parabolic, easy to cast good distances. It is sensitive to bites, but from about 18" from tip.
Tip itself is quite robust (which might sound strange, but it works) so could be used comfortably in all but the heaviest of ground.

I can bang out mackerel feathers or a pollock redtail and a 2oz weight, and fish for hours.
I could bass fish with it, close or at distance.
You could beach fish with it, or fish mixed ground.

Will pendulum 4oz (guessing) 180 yards? 140 with lug?
Overhead a 5oz, or lob a 6oz and decent bait into close in cod gulleys.

When I had it rebuilt, Bill Costyn pronounced it one of the nicest rods he had handled and was quite taken with it.

Only reason I am offering is because I hardly ever bait fish in summer anymore, and have TTLDSM for those times I do (and used that twice in three years!)
