Just spent a few days at my mothers in France to celebrate her 70th birthday. Took the camera along but didnt get the chance to do a great deal apart from during the day when it was very bright but I managed a few half decent shots:

thanks fellas, aye its a beautiful part of the world , and it was also very quiet as the tourist season hasn't really kicked in yet. the good thing also about the cottage is there is a trout stream at the bottom of the garden! I had a little go and managed a small rainbow trout and a roach. I was feeding the roach bread every morning, there was some going well over a pound and the stream is only about 8ft wide but up to 4 foot deep in places

    Hello Matty,
Fantastic photos all of them, if I had to pick a favourite it would be the tower with the poppies in the foreground.

    Thanks for sharing them.

    Regards Ian

I like the "Gecko" pic as well not being picky but I think it is a European Wall Lizard or close relative not a Gecko we have some populations of these in the UK not native but an Alien Invasive species!
