Isle Of Skye Sea Angling Article Here.

Travelled up yesterday, were all shattered after sleeping under the stars last night and having an average of 2 hours sleep. Managed only a couple of hours fishing today and just a few pollack to show for our efforts.

Chilling now and recharging our batteries for a full on fishing session tomorrow.

Just a few pics from our holiday so far :

Re: A Few Pics From Skye

Well today the lads wanted somewhere where we were certain to catch fish. Personally I had wanted to avoid Neist point but after speaking with GJW he suggested it would be a daft move not to go there. So Neist point it was.

Although the point is renowned for Pollack they were rather thin on the ground. However everything else possible made a show, including a fantastic shore tope of around 35lb - 40lb for Dan, Ill let him tell you that story. The rest of us were left with the scraps which on any ordinary day would have been great catches in their own right.

Faron had a tope of around 15lb, The rest of us had spurdogs, ling and conger upto 20lb

And just as you thought the day could not get any better a massive Minke Whale swam right passed us, almost within touching distance.

Rounded of with a spectacular sunset and a ride home at dusk through mist covered valleys. probably the very best days fishing ever.

I really don't think it gets much better than this, a day in the sun catching mackerel, coalies, pollack, spurdogs, conger and tope, and then to round it off this amazing creature pays us a visit about 50 yards in front of us.
