    Fast Castle Head

One of the most inhospitable pieces of coast line in SE Scotland. You can fish the mark from the shore by walking from Dowlaw farm but to unlock it's true potential you need to hit it with your kayak. launch from Petticowick bay at St Abbs and head North for some truly outstanding fishing. The ground is as rough as it gets and just screams big Pollock. A word of warning though, it's very exposed and can turn nasty very quickly, there's no VHF reception and I've yet to find a phone network that covers this area!

The Pollock are of a decent stamp as well, this one taken in August this year was just a few oz under 10lb.
