Well we could start a charity type enterprise with Lobbers parked on WW (or an empty bucket - whatever) on the 'Logo'. With our donations we could buy Cod straight off the boats and, using our network of dedicated volunteers, hand them out in Winter all down the coast at night to the needy and miserable.

Lobbers phwwore i love gwen stefani me like

Looks like ramrod is gunning for angler of the week with a winning four pounder tonight. My mate Jeff walker making sure he's gonna be travelling angler of the week with a two pounder closely followed by us mate John Nixon another northern raider
Also looks like the fish have gone right off with these poor returns. I can't wait for tomorrow. I love a hard match. Piss poor tides and little fish to be had is my cuppa tea

I went to the presentation last night, great event well supported. It was nice to hear that the numbers were well up this year and a big well done to Audrey for beating all but one of the male Anglers ;D even the junior Parr match was well attended with 31 competitors, I think a lot of that is due to the great work done by Andy Crowe & Ian Thompson plus making it catch & release event.
    Well done to all ;D

Well done to Phil on winning the All England, to Audrey on showing the blokes the way with a remarkable second place, to Dave Bielby on winning the angler of the week for the first time and to Pete Atkinson and all the committee members for organising what was clearly a hugely successful festival.

Well done Phil and Dave for your success in the festival both first time winners lads who have fished the festivals for a good number of years. The Festival was a massive success and Im sure all the committee old and new will work hard to make next years even better, thanks to all who generously donated to the festival and all those who took part.

Hey Nice one Phil, Couldnt happen to a nicer lad.

With regards to the festival as a whole there has been some cracking bags of fish come out. bet its been a few years since someone took a 40lb bag from under Bemmo ?

Out of interest do you have the record catches for each event ?

Well done mate, you have come close a few times in the past! Shame I couldn't have joined you but the ankle struggled with back of the wyke and wraggle scar, so glad you didn't convince me to join you, as it is still been iced now!!!! Also can't believe Dave has never won angler of the week before? Top angler and bloke, again well deserved.

Pleased to hear it was such a success Ian, must make all the efforts of the committee more worthwhile.
It's strange and ironic that on a year where it's been doom and gloom that the festival has produced so many fish.

Well done everyone involved its been a very memorable festival. I think the new point system worked well too.

Well done Phil and Audrey and of course to Dave who was relentless all week and a well deserved winner in the end.
