Well after having a week away in sunny spain i arrived back home friday and the lads were well up for it sundays forcast looked good so saturday night the lads were told the trip was on the forcast was good and were told worm and squid should do the damage . Over the last few weeks with all the strong winds off the sea the water was now well coloured up making the wrecking hard going its probably going to take a little while for the water to clear . We sailed at 8 am a few of the lads had never been uptiding before so it was a new experience but as allways on Sea-Otter 2 you will get the best tuition available so all the lads got rigged up baited up and ready to get lines over and it wasnt long before the rods were bouncing the stamp of the fish wasnt massive a few around the 6lb mark but quite a lot around 2-4lb it was good fishing the rods were nodding litterally non stop at times the lads loved it and cant wait to get back at it everybody nailed a nice few and as usual there is allway one who seems to be pulling them in one after the other one lad over 20 cod himself a very nice day and a first uptiding he is now hooked big style. First fish on the boat Quickly folled by this one. But it was this man who who could not go wrong this shot was taken mid morning this is just a few of his tally worm and squid was the killer he ended up with over 20 himself and with it been a fairly small tide thats good fishing on the uptiding scene. paul.
