    It had to be,

Couple of settled days resulted in plastics out fishing bait.

Comfortable launch, little SSW breeze away we were down towards pier end.

Inside mark produced few mops & big shifting, all returned.

Couple of drifts, nowt better so outside we went.

120ft, nice drift water clear, plastics started to get better fish to 6lb,

    Bait attracting mops & bleggs.

Wind picked up causing us to drift across mark, not along it.

Dash back inside, mark near huntcliffe, steady morning, few mackerel

To hokkis, ling & billet, steady drifting again .

    Managed 20 keepers.

Visit from fisheries rib, nice too see how fast they can cover ground.

Real slack tide made day better, overall enjoyable morning.

Good day out regardless of wind etc.

Might be worthwhile trying bait hard in under huntcliffe but

Bit wary as recent catches by other boats have resulted in cod

Literally full of worms, have to see next blow up & see if bearfleet

Sealgoit through s up any local fish from shore session.

uptiding at night is very strange but enjoyable if you get the chance you should try that. Sail at teatime get back between 10 and 11.
