It took less than 5 minutes.

Can I ask how many more of the 100+ readers of this topic have actually taken the survey ??

Re: Campaign to reinstate Norway Ferry

I'm not interested personally but I have friends living in Sweden who used to get the ferry from Norway to visit family back here - now they have a very long car journey through Europe and across the Channel with a stop off in Germany for a night!

I've emailed them the link and hopefully they can get friends at their end involved too :D

Looks as though securing the funding is the root of the problem, Norwegian seaways spokesman claims they know it could be profitable route but cannot secure the start up funding

Hope they manage to sort it ;)

Survey Completed , would love to see a ferry running again

the shipping Company i work for DFDS closed their route to Kristiansand , Via Gothenburg because it was losing money , they have also done the same with the Passenger route from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark this Autumn . I will put a suggestion to the M.Director in Immingham who would then if he thought it was worth mentioning would then raise it with the CEO in Denmark .
stickman i am surprised your friends drive all that way , re above DFDS run Cargo ferries to Gothenburg from Immingham , i know its more Expensive than a Passenger Ferry but would rather pay a bit more than drive all that way through Europe . and it would be safer in this day and age
the ferries also run to Brevik in Norway twice a week Via Gothenburg but have been told that its Quicker to drive up from Gothenburg , and there are more sailing to Sweeden .

i will let you know what happens and if i get a reply
