Right then Mike/Phil, following are the low water tides (at Runswick) for the next few weekends:

    Sat 8th - LW 10.15am - 1.07m
    Sun 9th - LW 10.50am - 0.94m

    Sat 15th - LW 4.00pm - 2.04m
    Sun 16th - LW 5.45pm - 1.99m

    Sat 22nd - LW 10.15am - 1.20m
    Sun 23rd - LW 10.45am - 1.16m

Unfortunately I won't have my saltwater lures for another 2 weeks yet  but I've got plenty of other suitable lures I can bring along (just got to make sure I wash them in freshwater afterwards!).

I can go pretty much anytime but the above gives us something to work to. What works for you guys?

    Sam

I'll fish anytime Phil, I only put the low water times on as that would be a better time for access around Runswick I guess. Would you prefer to fish high water like or doesn't it really matter?

no no not at all mike i never judge anyone as i dont want to be judged meself :embarrass: need to blow the cob webs off anyways so could do with a day getting back used to it. found a shimano exage 2500 for 41 quid delivered not sure tho what ya reckon?

Exage does look nice Phil, found one for £29.99 here:
    http://www.eppingfishingtackle.co.uk/ProductDetails/mcs/referrer/froogle/productID/13/groupID/50/categoryID/283

I hope to start stocking some Shimano Fixed spool reels soon, just trying to decide which ones to buy in. Might go for something like the Sedona, Sonora, CX, etc and maybe one or two baitcasters. If I can get hold of the Exage then I'll go for some of them as well.

Looking forward to the 15th lads, I might have a pop down to Runswick with the dog tomorrow (depends if I'm taking our mam/lass out or not). Really looking forward to plenty of Bass fishing this year so we'll have to make this a regular thing if you like. I know I'll be out plenty for sure, specially when I get my yak

cheers sam i'll take a look. it'd be good to find a shop that specialises in lure stuff that you can go walk round, not a shop catering for tourist and that, but with good quality gear and crack. some shops i go into,ya cant wait to get out of.jst on uploading some lure pics to go here for what i'm thinkin of fetchin fella's.
    cheers
    phil.
