Cod Fishing Mop plunderer off marske.

    No it not one of the forums better cod angler but,

    new > 10mtr trawler dragging from right near Marske high bouy

    turning & heading easterly down to-wards huntcliffe etc.

    its been here a few times dragging over the "good" marks inside

    just after the pots have been backed off.

    sensible/ opertunist or plain greedy ? plundering the inshore marks.

    Hope he has the same results as I had on there this year. Atleast it's not a scalloper.

    got to agree, unless they appear in calm spells in November

    (like last year) that will be it till new year long lining sessions.

    Didn't want him to extract fish moving in & spoil winter beach

    sessions.

    Why do they fish so close. (If that's the case). As people we always destroy today things that can be used tomorrow. Scolop dredging ripping up ground to make profit now. Nets picking up small coddling and other fish. I know the lads need to make a living and I don't begrudge them that, but kill it now nothing for later

    sorry for delay in reply,

    led to believe its from Sboro, early on in year it had a red painted twin

    sharing the spoils.
