    got 3 days fishing booked next mon to thursday home
    no b and b this time but managed caravan at maryport

    anybody been there lately what is happening plenty of fish ??

    Usual suspects bass pollack mackerel and smoothounds, just done 2weeks at new england bay.

    Is there any slipways where its possible to launch a small boat over the MOG?

    You can launch from the beach at East Tarbet if you have a suitable vehicle, We have in the past using a 4X4. Again you can beach launch at Drummore not sure what the score is with any sips in Drummore. Depending on the wind you could also launch at Port Logan.

    got back thursday night
    winds against us so fished mull on monday maccy strip bait caught small pollack and mackerel
    tuesday gambled on west side mark what a day some 60 pollack to 5lb maccy and launce
    tuesday night teraily beach caught doggies
    wednesday strong westerlies so did ladvag not much doing so did flat rock for pollack and mackrel
    in evening fished new england bay on flood nothing
    thursday back over west side fishing ok but nothing more than 3lb then home
    ps found queens now do £5 meals very good quality lot cheaper than clash and not so far to walk
