Woke up to find this post on my news feed. Really really hope they find him safe and well. I know this is a popular mark for quite a few of the guys on the forum. Only a tiny bit of information out there on the matter at the moment but the little bits of information that have been released have come from the RNLI Scarborough twitter feed. Just hope to god they find whoever it is safe and well. Stay safe out there guys.

Just spoke to Jezza,he thought it might have been Iain but spoke to him this morning.
Apparently it's someone from Beverley who was fishing the cliff tops at Burniston,he must be known to someone on here or someone local as the mark he was fishing isn't that well known unless you are in the know, his car was in the carpark and his dog was sat beside his gear on the cliff top,it really doesn't sound good at all.

Coastguard was alerted by the anglers wife when he never returned home.

Not sounding good fingers crossed it ends well.
