    First Maccarel of the Year caught today off Skinningrove We had a couple whilst Jigging
    Got 3 Stone of Cod and A Big Juicy Crab

    I had some at brid 4 weeks ago
    not far out, just near the yellow navigation buoy, thats another story!!

    anyway loads of dabs and plaice coming up, sea was rough but we battled through, most of them under size so we chucked em back, some for tea and breakfast though

    how far out are they rich. might be on the jetty soon

    havent caught a dab yet this season. What are the best ways of catching them. Would you just go for cod, or purposely make a scratching rig with beads etc.

    had a run out from staithes last night ended up with 10 mackies close in at white stones

    too rough harry. As soon as this clears up they will be in. there was a few on the gare last week when it was still flat
