LING FRENZY ON SEA-OTTER 2

The lings are now poking there heads out big style some much better lings now showing the lads today got some nice fish gary jones got the best today with a ling over 16lb we also had a few around the 14lb mark gary and shawn on the picture got 2nd and 3rd in daily today well done lads .

Was a 17lb 09oz Ling caught by a lady Amber Hill from Hull on Mistress new leader

 

Yes mick some good fish today we had another nice ling over 17lb mr eddon took the lead with a ling 21lb so its hotting up and its looking like going down to the wire on sunday .

That's a cracking picture of a freshly caught Ling, was just looking at the results and got to say there has been some cracking fish so far, fingers crossed weather plays ball for the remainder. Hope to be up on Friday, just out of interest I have noticed that it's just been Ling making the daily's is there anything else showing ?

Bloody hell. Some big fish there lads. 17lb comes third!! That's some great weights

 

Another excellent day for the lads on Sea-Otter 2 stack of fish plenty of cod between 5-8lb lings plus stacks of lings local lad neil dowson got smashed on 100lb traceline and by the way his rod was lungeing it looked very much like the festival winner i allways stress on 100lb trace line you have a 50% chance of being smashed with a big ling on 150lb traceline you have a 99% chance of landing it lings have extremly sharp teeth and if the hook is in its throat its razor sharp teeth will cut through your line .
