Boat Fishing huntcliffe/cattersea to-day.

    Managed a coupe of hours down huntcliffe/ cattersea marks

    this morning, water clear but plenty of muck/weed on beach .

    slow all morning , just a couple of keepers to6lb at each drift.

    plenty of mops about, no Pollock , most mackerel are of a decent size,

    couple of yakkers out from grove otherwise a quite morning, shads n hokkis

    used.

    no better to-day, very slow again this bit of easterly dosnt help.

    regarding tea, bbq mackerel & rhubarb/goose- gog relish very tasty

    also black pepper corns on fillets also

    ling caught to-day will be staked &

    1/ marinaded with tandoori paste over night ready for to-morrow.

    2/ other stakes in a good old ling /leek pie.

    plenty of mops to-day returned but where oh where have the decent

    size cod vanished to ? only five keepers to 6lb plenty of mackerel

    couple of ling to 10lb not getting any better.

    no,

    the rib /sib could have been a former member "groyne" who used to

    put decent reports on the forum, mainly about marke/redcar n cattersea

    marks .

    didn't see it myself, just a couple of fast fishers & commercial potters

    no yaks neither.

    yes please,

    looks like sat is going to be better option than sun, how did thursday go?

    going in own boat sat ,bri"tubby" will be using bait so good

    options for the day, lures v bait.

    pics appear to have "shown" now, better samples for nxt time.

    you managed to "raid" our reserves we wanted them to grow for November.

    hope you didn't get a "groyne" strain catching them.

    how did church on tip, church on trees marks fish to-day,

    seems your becoming a mind reader for some of the options

    to find the elusive cod.

    Very poor again, plenty of small stuff, but nowt decent. Had a good hunt round using the new FF with sidescan, very interesting, but couldn't locate the better ones.
