Just wanting to pick your brains regarding easy access fishing marks around Dumfries & Galloway I'm planning on taking my 6 year old son up there for a couple of days in August camping and hopefully fishing but don't want him having to clamber amongst boulders close to deep water!

I was maybe thinking Portpatrick or the harbour at the Isle of whithorn but any advice welcomed not after big fish just plenty to keep us occupied

    Cheers Andy

Andy try this, plus other sites up there for lock, salmon & trout sites if you want a change from the sea etc.

    Sambo To the MAX!

Not an expert as only visited the area once but Port Logan looks a decent sport, sure the beach will produce flatties, Turbot, etc

What you have to take into consideration is this ,
Any Rock marks are bloody trecherous as soon as they get wet :wounded: the make up of the rock makes them like walking on greased glass, :wounded:
