Heading up to stay in Gullane for a week in July with the family looking at the surrounding are looks like some good marks but info on the web is sparse for Gullane beach so guessing this means the fishing is likely to be the same. Has anyone got any experience with fishing this area and what are the main species to target?

mostly flatties there Tom, but if you go to north berwick there are some good rock marks that can fish well for cod in the right conditions - North Easterly being the best swell direction

Cheers lads, well hopefully it will produce something, might head along those rock marks then if the sea persists. Not sure how many cod will be around mid summer but sure with will be a few pollack around to entertain.
