I should be there Dave, but never know my shifts till the friday before.

Just one questions. With it being HSF is it weigh and release and get witnessed or what? Only asking cos with settled weather the majority of fish you'd expect to be smoothies and skate. Dont think many people will want to be knocking them on the head.

If i'm free i will deffo be there,i'm sure young Langy will be there too  If anyone go's to IKEA in the next few weeks,"Borrow" a load of the free tape measures, give every entrant a measure and each fish could be measured and witnessed by the closest angler to the captor.Well done on putting the effort in Dave, like i say if i'm free i will be there,i know we have an Amsterdam trip in the pipeline around that date but hopefully they won't clash...tight lines

Agree with the thoughts on catch release as it is a summer match with species not usually on the menu for most.I ll source some measures and some scales and witness cards for the day.

Of those members fishing who has a measure please I think i have two only at the moment ?
Might have to make do with folk bringing a tape measure if we struggle for actual fish measures.

It might be better to bring tape measures Dave :yes:There should ( hopefully :cheesy:) be a few skate or hounds around and a standard measure of 45cm would not be enough to accurately record these fish of a decent size
