Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum and wondered if anyone could offer some advice. How do people manage to flush their outboard without having to lean dangerously over the back of the boat to fit the muffs ?
    cheers phil

Have you got room to swing it round so it comes stern on or reachable from the pontoon.

Thats a good idea if the boat alongside is at sea, if not it makes it difficult.

I'll probably get slaughtered for this by the do it by the book merchants, but mine probably gets flushed about 3 or 4 times a year and it's on a trailer with water available. I know lads who are on moorings who only flush once a year, I think aslong as it's flushed before a major lay-up you're ok.
