I am Thinking of doing a shore fishing trip to Scotland, to target any species off rock marks.

Just wondered what the best way to go around booking it would be? and any reccomendations on where to go?

You will find lots of cottages / caravans on the internet as well as books from WH Smiths giving loads of addresses ------------------ Where to go -- well it depends what you are after and how far you wish to travel , for cod you cant do much better than Arbroath , other areas are Fife any where around the Anstruther / Crail area , then nearer home you Eyemouth / ST abbs , all these areas are very scenic and on there day be productive , If you fancy further afield
the area around Aberdeen , or the coast to the east of Inverness places like Cullen , Banff , Macduff , Gardenstown etc ----- If you fancy Pollack , Conger , Bass
Mackerel well you cant do anybetter than the Mull of Galloway , staying in places like Drummore, Portpatrick

Best advice I could give is go for a dAy you can get to a lot of good marks in 2 and a half hours take a spinning rod travel light and just have a good look around then when you get home plan a longer trip, if you go into google maps and go to the area you want to fish and type in self cAtering or camping you get loads of options. If you don't fancy just going for the day get yourself a light backpacking tent and wild camp over night and don't just blindly march off to the mull theres plenty of good fishing thAt you will drive straight past if you do.
