Hi, I have been coarse fishing since i was 6 but i have never tried sea fishing and wanted to give it ago with my friend, possibly this weekend or next. I have no idea where to start. We wanted to go to Whitby somewhere on the shore but i have no idea what tackle or bait to use. Any tips in terms of tackle, bait and location would be very helpful .

    Thanks in advance

Your best bet would be to call in to the tackle shop on Church street in Whitby for tackle advice, bait, best locations and tactics advice all in one place.
