First solo yak outing

    Didn't feel confident enough on sea alone so set target of going g from tees barrage upstream to Preston hall.
    Well I did it but bugger me it's further than you think..lot easier coming back though.
    Anyone know how far it actually is???
    No mishaps and feeling more confident now......bet can't move tomorra though.
    Bring on the fishing!!!!

    Nice place to get your confidence levels up, not bad fishing there either, easiest way is to get a length of string and follow the river meanders as laid on a map and then measure the string against the maps scale and it'll give you a pretty accurate measurement

    Its a long way to paddle though for a first time go
