thought it was april 1st t0-day, after news that all diesel/petrol new cars cease 2040.

knock on for HGV, fishing fleets, etc etc so,

for my 90th b/day im saving up for a electric ladyland sorry electric Leyland,

new electric o/b & permit to re-charge my boat engines at the wind farm.

hell knows what the tax/insurance etc for old engines will be or is a full

de-commissioning on the cards again like the one where the old beautiful

cobles were cut up for scrap.

Pretty meaningless deadline really. The electric car industry will be there by themselves in 2030 anyway. Range anxiety/battery storage is the limiting factor Norway have already set their sights on 2025 !!!
My worry is people being run down by silent electric car motors but the government doesn't seem to be bothered by this.
