Now then lads. I have a mate in wales who catches plenty of edible crab. I know how to make cart but I have also seen lads arrive on a mark with the crabs frozen, smash them open and whip the wings on. Will the crab they have be peelers. If not can I just put the live crab in frezzer and use when needed. I have used live on the boat with @bigcod. Aka Paul. But they were full of coral which we just whipped to squid or lug

Why freeze it in the shell when it will take up a lot more room ?? Just Cart it in trays. Or use it fresh.

    just a tip,

at present if your sourcing crab for cart, don't be greedy,

select the "mid" size hens, they are chockablock with coral,

not so with the LARGER hens.

a bit strange, but true with the hens over the past 2 weeks.
