Headed out of RHB at 9am this morning. We fished most of the flood tide for 1 codling of 1 pounds 10 ounces. Plenty of tide running through but the fish were just not playing ball. One thing I did notice was the water is full of algea. You could see it coming past in the tide and it was giving the water a green tint to it.

Not the best of days by any means but beats the hell out of sitting home or doing the garden. Im sure there will be better days to come. Roll on June.

Always best to come in when it starts like that Dan. There will be plenty more opportunities in the coming months.

You didn`t sit at home or do the garden, you went fishing. Obviously the right decision BB, nice one

Isn't that the dreaded May bloom Glen? Most folk say the fishing doesn't start until it clears.
