later launch from saltburn this morning, to fish after slack water

headed down to cattersea, potters now moving gear to some marks last chance for a while

due to decent f/cast for them, to fish them as best.

a large pod of dolphins about again (good sign?) chasing bait fish, mate rang hed seen them

at h/cliff point, so well spread out.

wind spoilt drift , when it eased off could fish marks properly, gusts even with drogue

pushed us across the marks not along them.

ended up keeping 10, best 12lb + using spring balance-- it looked better.

water so-so, shads/hokkis used.plenty of mops about, no mackerel .

had a call on way in, WARNING-- sunk tractor at low water mark grove side

of slip way, managed to see it in surf, take care if its not recovered to-nights

low water, tides are making so if it dosnt move needs a pellet/bouy on it .

will be trying again t0-morrow but it could be busy, marske boat compo

    taking place.

silent 1 well outside us so don't know if he did any better at anchor with bait.

B*gger, they never come past us.:(

We caught the last couple of hours of the ebb, and where straight into fish. When the ebb died away the breeze picked up and it got quite choppy, so we headed in. Slightly better stamp of fish than of late, kept 7 and as many put back.
