later launch from saltburn this morning, to fish after slack water headed down to cattersea, potters now moving gear to some marks last chance for a while due to decent f/cast for them, to fish them as best. a large pod of dolphins about again (good sign?) chasing bait fish, mate rang hed seen them at h/cliff point, so well spread out. wind spoilt drift , when it eased off could fish marks properly, gusts even with drogue pushed us across the marks not along them. ended up keeping 10, best 12lb + using spring balance-- it looked better. water so-so, shads/hokkis used.plenty of mops about, no mackerel . had a call on way in, WARNING-- sunk tractor at low water mark grove side of slip way, managed to see it in surf, take care if its not recovered to-nights low water, tides are making so if it dosnt move needs a pellet/bouy on it . will be trying again t0-morrow but it could be busy, marske boat compo taking place. silent 1 well outside us so don't know if he did any better at anchor with bait.
