COWBAR LAST NIGHT

    WELL HAD DECIDED ON TRYING SOMEWHERE NEW LAST NIGHT BUT A19 CHAOS LEFT US 2 HOURSV LATE,SO ENDED UP ON COWBAR FISHING LAST OF EBB.PLENTY OF POUT/ROCKLING ACTION TO ALL BAITS AND SOME CLUNKING BITES WE COULDNT HIT.WONDER IF IT DOWN TO FLAT SEA OR TOO BIG BAIT ON SINGLE5/0,SHOULD I HAVE PENNELLED EM.
    TYPICALLY BEST BITES ALWAYSAS DOING SUMMAT ELSE EG SORTING OUT BIRDIE OR POURING A CUPPA!WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT.
    HOWEVER,NICE TO BE OUT ONLY A LIITTLE RAIN AND WIND NOT TOO BAD.

    ROLLON SOME DECENT WEATHER,SICK OF HAVING QULITY LIVE BAIT GOING TO WASTE WAITING FOR A SEA!

    Well you got a few bits and pieces ,did you fish the gully or the jetty,

    saw the lights last nite when a was going t work well done on getting out in the rain !!

    i fished the jetty at staites on sunday and blanked! incidently were is the gully? and why do they call it cowbar?nice venue by the way,beautiful place staithes.. :yes:

    Saw your lites sunday night,it is called cow bar because north of the beck is cowbar,south of the beck staithes,the gullys the first scar that protrudes out in line with the jetty,on the cowbar side cast towards the flashing light on the boulby marker bouy,
