Monday night msw changed to a 2mph gentle wind for tues morn

changing to stronger winds noon time, due to cabin fever we decided to go for a few hours.

biggish tides meant not much beach to launch from until @slack water.

easy launch & away to fish end of slack close in for mackerel/Pollock.

plenty of big mackerel still to be caught, Pollock caught ,although sporty giving

good fight best one @ 3lb (need to venture up to dimmi for better sample).

as dahn pellets indicated end of slack water, went for marks inside which were now pot free

due to bad f/cast & most pots now in deeper water.

conditions good, steady drift along marks, clear water & plenty of mops about.

a couple of yakkers near grove area (pity no reports from them as of late)

kept 9 cod to 5lb all like peas in a pod nice green backs.

good sign of mops returned , might make it for next year.

wind picked up so back in .

went for tractor as surf was making only to see yakker launching

hope they had a good session round rock edge.

Launched about half eight, by the time I got to the back of the scaurs it was getting a bit choppy. Had a few drifts with not a lot to show, with wind picking up and starting to spit, I headed back. Got in as it started to rain proper. Maybe something for the weekend?
