    The iconic European cod fishery which collapsed in the 1980s and has been ailing ever since, has finally increased above dangerously low levels and hauled itself off the MCS Fish to Avoid list.

    well said as we all know everything is cyclic as they pick up they increase quotas and boom

    While I total agree with the fact increased quota will diminish stocks again, has enough been done over discard. As we all know many tons of fish are put back dead as they are not allowed to be landed. I know this has been covered before but as has also been said we never seem to learn
